While the medical field can claim tremendous advancements in recent decades, most would agree that the quality of patient care is still far from perfect. Baylor Health Care System is doing its part to raise the bar, urging its employees and affiliates to adopt a new patient-centric mindset called STEEEP. The acronym, issued by the Institute of Medicine, says that medical care must be: Safe, Timely, Effective, Efficient, Equitable, and Patient-Centered.
Baylor called on Simmons Design Associates to support a branding and communications campaign to promote the STEEEP values across the Baylor system. SDA designed an eye-catching graphic theme and facilitated original photography featuring Baylor employees. SDA combined these elements to create a series of posters and environmental graphics placed throughout Baylor facilities.
Along with other informational materials surrounding STEEEP, SDA's contributions are helping to inspire doctors, nurses and all Baylor employees to achieve a higher standard of care.
