The landscape architects of Meeks Design Group are experts at creating beautiful and functional designs from earth, sod and stone. On paper, however, the firm's own image was in need of a makeover. After more than 20 years in the business, MDG sought a fresh new look to reinvigorate its brand and support its growth efforts. Simmons Design Associates got the call.
Starting with a new logo and visual theme, SDA created a brand image that truly captures the client's dual commitment to business results and environmental responsibility. The logo incorporates a green leaf, and supporting materials feature natural tones and a recurring palette of soil, grass, brick and stone. Each of these graphic treatments, along with complementary copywriting, are prevalent in the firm's newly designed stationery system, presentation materials, corporate website, and electronic and print marketing materials.
MDG describes itself as using "cutting-edge techniques to create visually striking and efficient designs, a balance of aesthetic appeal and functionality." The same could be said of the way SDA builds highly effective brands.
