art251 Trinity River is a new nature store that opened May 1st inside the Trinity River Audubon Center. The non-traditional gift shop offers a range of age-appropriate gifts, fine art and souvenirs for kids and adults. The emphasis is on local, green, upcycled products in concert with Audubon’s educational and community outreach strategy, all at an affordable price point. In addition to many local artists, art251 Trinity River will feature many local food products including locally roasted Oak Cliff Co. Coffee, Zipcode Honey from Texas Honeybee Guild, Mozzarella Company local gourmet cheese and fair trade chocolate. The store is run by T Hanson who has partnered with Kim & Mike Gerra, owners of art251 in Keller, TX the original local art space.
“We’re excited by the opportunity to give back to the local community through support of so many talented local artisans and to showcase their work and products at the store,” Said T Hanson. If you are looking for a quality and price perfect gift, shop art251 soon!.
