Announcing the 2010 Trinity River Photo Contest!
Calling all entries! Capture your own photo adventure!
The City of Dallas, Dallas Camera Club, Canon, and Competitive Camera are proud to announce the Second Annual Trinity River Photo Contest launching on Wednesday, June 30, 2010. The Photo Contest will allow photographers to display the beauty and majesty of the Trinity River Corridor through their photographic lens – all 20 miles and 10,000 acres of the project.
Canon will host a free photography workshop Thursday, July 15 at the Trinity River Audubon Center to help spur on photographer enthusiasts and allow photographers to begin to capture their images of the exciting Trinity River Corridor
Professional, amateur and youth photographers are encouraged to enter photographs in the following categories:
Architecture/Structures
Forest/Prairie
River/Ponds
Wildlife
Entries will be accepted from 8:00 a.m. on June 30, 2010 through October 15, 2010 at midnight. For more information about contest rules, how to enter, how to register for the photography workshop, contest prizes, maps, and locations to shoot, please visit: www.trinityrivercorridor.org.
The winning photographs from the 2009 Trinity River Photo Contest are currently on display in the Mattie Nash-Myrtle Davis Recreation Center lobby at 3710 N. Hampton Road through the end of the month. The exhibit will then travel to different sites around the City of Dallas through the fall.
