Full House at City Hall Discussing Riverfront Blvd. Design

On May 10, the City Hall auditorium was close to capacity as interested property owners, citizens and City leaders met to review proposed plans and alignments for Riverfront Blvd. presented by the City of Dallas and Dallas County. This is a joint public project managed by the two and designed by Hayden Consultants, Inc. and Wallace, Todd and Roberts (WRT).

This public meeting provided a forum for citizen input before the reconstruction takes place on Riverfront Blvd. between Cadiz Street and Continental Avenue.

Display boards provided a glimpse into some of the alignment changes as well as the type of landscaping

and signage that is being proposed. These plans are developed by Hayden Consultants, Inc., a woman-owned civil engineering consulting firm specializing in economically and environmentally sustainable design, and Wallace Todd and Roberts (WRT) a national urban design firm focused on building with sustainability and dedicated to improving natural and built environments.

To see the presentation from May 10 given by Hayden and WRT, the preliminary alignment maps and a video of what Riverfront Blvd. may look like when the improvements are complete, use this link:
