Objective
BridgeBuilders is a Dallas area ministry that focuses on transforming communities in the Southern sector of Dallas. As a faith-based non-profit organization, BridgeBuilders relies on volunteer service to drive innovative programs that bring equity and opportunity to some of the city’s most disadvantaged areas. Its outreach initiatives include job training, employment staffing, financial coaching, life skills training, transportation services, youth mentoring and Bible studies, among other programs. Like most non-profits, BridgeBuilders is constantly working to increase its visibility, fundraise and recruit volunteers, all of which requires a cohesive and recognizable brand presence. The BridgeBuilders leadership called on SDA to refresh its brand with a new look and language that would better connect with its broad spectrum of stakeholders.
Delivery
SDA started the rebranding effort by reimagining the BridgeBuilders logo. While clean and simple, the resulting new logo combines the imagery of a highway system that forms a letter B with the cross, representing the organization’s mission of restoring communities and relationships under the banner of Christ. SDA also developed a new font system and tagline for the organization – Restoring Hope, Transforming Communities – and implemented the brand assets across multiple channels including a digital campaign, business papers, wearables, and vehicle branding. Through its refreshed and more strategic approach to branding, BridgeBuilders has connected with a wider audience, attracted more donations and established new partnerships to take its mission of benevolent service to new heights.
