Objective
The Dallas Convention and Visitors Bureau (DCVB) is an independent, not-for-profit organization that promotes Dallas as a premier business and pleasure destination in the U.S. One of the DCVB's primary partners for generating revenue for the City of Dallas, The Dallas Convention Center, was renamed to The Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas (KBHCCD), honoring the former U.S. senator. Concurrently, the KBHCCD needed to update its brand imaging with visual elements to represent a new and forward-looking era for the facility. SDA was hired to develop the new KBHCC brand and the initial stage of a major wayfinding signage system.
Delivery
The wayfinding system included a new memorial that paid tribute to the Senator and her accomplishments. To unveil the new memorial to the public, the DCVB hired SDA to develop a branding and user experience campaign. Deliverables included a theme logo, digital and print invitations, branded promotional give-a-ways, and branded environmental graphics.
